Contributed by Michael Reeder
What It's Like
A seldom run, but decent quality intermediate run.
Class
III+ to IV
Scouting / Portaging
Mostly boat scouting/read and run. One of the bigger rapids can sneak up on you and is best scouted from river left.
Time
1-2 hours on the water
When to Go
Late May to late August, best above 30cms
Gauge
5.15cms↓ (Apr 25 15:30)
This run provides a good intermediate option close to the town of Golden. It is slightly on the "adventury" side of class 3+ due to wood movement.

To access this run drive up the Blaeberry FSR to Thompson Falls which acts as the takeout. Continue upstream to Split Creek campground for the put in.

While not the most classic section of whitewater, it is well worth the effort if you are in the area and looking for something besides the Kicking Horse.
