When to Go
Spring and early summer
Gauge
18.7cms↑ (Apr 26 10:25)
When the Goldstream gauge is above 100 this is a sweet treat of a run. Flowy and continuous with few consequences. It's never too high but can get pushy and develop some meaty holes in the heat of spring flood. Paddle to the inside of the corners for an easier time on the steeper sections. Watch for wood. The hairpin corner after the halfway bridge forms a large ledge hole on the left at high water.
